How To Get To Ysleta del Sur Pueblo
Ysleta del Sur Pueblo is located twelve miles east of downtown El Paso. It is accessible by private vehicle, city bus, and a guided tour from Inter-State 10 and the Border Highway (Loop 375). Ysleta Pueblo is the gateway to El Paso’s Mission Valley that includes the historic communities of Ysleta, Socorro, and San Elizario. These scenic villages include historic missions, old adobe buildings, informative museums and cultural centers, fine restaurants and alluring boutiques and attractive shops with original arts and crafts.
Purpose and Target Groups
Tigua Trails website was created to introduce the viewer to the history and culture of the Tigua Indians of Ysleta del Sur Pueblo, and to promote heritage tourism and historic preservation of the El Paso area, particularly Ysleta and the Mission Valley.
